"The room was poorly cleaned on our first day with stained carpets. There was never anyone around at the pool/sauna desk and nobody could explain if the sauna was included or charged so we didn’t use it. Breakfast was reasonable with good choices. A lot of children staying here so better for families I think. I would say that despite being in the four star section, it was more like a three star. No minibar or room service menu. "This is probably my best stay in Bled. The rooms are very spacious and clean and the view from balcony was spectacular. Parking is easy and there's also a bus stop few steps from the guesthouse. Ana and Nina went above and beyond to make sure I have a great stay with them. 1. There is a boat that goes from mainland to the island where the hotel is. The boat does not run if there are thunderstorms. No one from the hotel notified us about this and told us that the boat is NOT running now and we can not get to the hotel tonight. The chef prepared meals with outstanding blend of tastes, presented eloquently and provided a personal explanation of the courses. Best flavorful meal with rolling hills and old town historic setting. Five Star!!! We also rode e bikes for 60k and found the rides perfect for this activity and safe. Perfect location to hop on and ride along the river to other towns. Perfect location to access Lake Bled with minutes to the city center. Exceptional property.
