All of the staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and helpful. Breakfast was superb with a great selection of high quality options. Highly recommended for anyone looking to stay in the area."

"We stayed in the lodge which is just across the road from the main hotel. It was clean and comfortable and the great part was being able to sit outside next to the river, right next to the bar! Breakfast was in the main hotel and was really good."

"This was the most wonderful experience staying at Kilkea Castle. The property is steeped in history and was incredibly interesting to read about. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the food was delicious, with some tasty variations on traditional Irish breads with soups. Breakfast was ordered from a menu rather than buffet style. We had a memorable experience and loved every minute!"
