"Very charming property, loved the rooms, staff was incredible…. Felt like a princess sleeping in a castle ! Would be great if they could include more activities, as there’s not that much to do except explore the woods and castle …. Though the castle tour was exceptional with all the medieval armory."

"Just back from a 3 day stay at Murphy's Hotel. The Hotel its self is small and spread over two floors. We stayed in room 16 on the first floor. The room was spotless and large with a double and a single bed. The bathroom was lovely with a great shower and toiletries supplied. However the really outstanding part of our stay was the food. We had breakfast and dinner there each night. The breakfast was especially nice and was prepared fresh and served to the table. The dinner menu was the same each evening, but had ample choice. Every meal we had was lovely and again served fresh to the table. Another great feature of the hotel is the staff. All were very helpful and attentive, We would highly recommend this hotel and we will stay again. "

"This house was ideal for us to stay in County Mayo as a base to explore the area. It is just 10 mins from the Town of Ballina and only a short drive to the coast. The cottage contained most things we needed and instructions from the property manager we’re clear and accurate. It was great to be able to self cater as if at home. We would stay again if in the area."

"We had a lovely stay at the ocean sands hotel. We're a family of five and the kids really enjoy they're stay, we only stayed one night but would of loved to stay longer. Location is gorgeous, hotel is right next to the beach so excellent for little ones. Had dinner in the restaurant which was stunning, prices were great for the quality of food we were served. My only negative is that our room was fairly cold when we arrived but it warmed up quick enough once we put on the heaters. Lovely hotel staff in all areas. Id definitely recommend a stay here."

"Perfect for both of us to get away for a week over New Year with our two dogs. Weather as expected - challenging but good to get back from our long beach walks and enjoy a hot shower. Beach bar a short walk. Good atmosphere and tasty food. Shop for top-up provisions a short drive away. Annex well appointed and comfortable."
