"The host was absolutely lovely and very welcoming, and the home itself is beautiful with generous gardens. That said, I found the room quite small – I had to place my suitcase on the bed to open it – and the mattress was very firm, which made for a less comfortable sleep. Because the room is on the ground floor near the front door, I was woken when new guests arrived around midnight. "Room was clean and spacious. Patio was relaxing, and foyer lovely. Breakfast vouchers to nearby cafe were provided since staff were limited. Clear instructions to find the B&B and how to get through the three doors were provided. Communications was excellent. Town felt deserted when we arrived on Saturday. Hard to find an eatery and navigate way by bus to town. May be different during the week."
