"Staff ensured our room on check in was quiet. Except there was a night club across the street. Then when asked for a new room was told by staff “that they would bet their career it would be quiet”. The room was one floor up on the same side … Couldn’t sleep until after 1am because of the club across the street"

"We did not have a good experience in this Doubletree hotel. We asked for an early check-in, but no room was available. We waited in the Lobby for two hours before our room was ready. We walked into our room, only to find a blood spot on the top sheet of the bed. We called the lobby, and by coincidence, my husband walked outside of the room and saw a woman pushing a housekeeping cart. He asked about the stain and she introduced her self as a supervisor. She walked in and stripped the bed completely. She said it would be taken care of. We left for a couple of hours and returned to a clean bed. When I went to use the bathroom I found dirt on the floor. I scooped it up with a tissue, but there was more. It was late, so we just went to sleep. We had to catch a very early flight the next morning and left without reporting that incident. We won’t be staying there again."

"Storm activity cancelled my flight. The Comfort Inn South Portland team made things effortless and a great value. Shuttle service from and to the airport was convenient - almost no waiting and a 3-minute ride... The staff was professional and courteous - even at 3:30am in the morning."

"We checked in at about 8:30pm and left at like 10pm. We had 2 rooms and neither of them were clean. The bathroom in the first one was filthy. Not just like oh I forgot to clean it once but caked dirt and grime on the outside of the shower. Then I opened my bed to find a hair in it and then some dirt. So they ended up giving us a second room and the shower was still dirty and then I opened up the bed and there was dirt in the bed. I ended up leaving so disgusted and had to pay $323 for another hotel. Expedia would not refund my money so I will never stay at a spark or use expedia again as all they offered me was a $50 credit. Shame on you Spark and Expedia."

"Stayed one night, traveling thru. The room was clean , the beds were comfortable. Only complaint was the restaurant for breakfast we went down at 7 and there was not anyone there. We sat down and waited for like ten minutes and left. Went elsewhere. Hotel was hard to find but it was dark when we got there."
