"My stay at Ryan’s Hotel in Cong was very enjoyable. The staff provided consistently thoughtful service, and the on‑site pub offered an authentic, welcoming vibe that felt true to the village. Breakfast provided lots of options including hot eggs, sausages, as well as more continental options. the complimentary parking right outside was a real convenience. The hotel is in the heart of the village and you can walk to the Abby, Asheford Estate, or shops and pubs and cafes. The hotel also seems to attract many fishing enthusiasts, which I’m not one, but makes sense as you can easily walk to the rivers. We liked that the hotel was so close to nature trails and the other local attractions. You may need to request a fan for your room during summer since like most hotels in Ireland there is little need for air conditioning."
