"The staff was wonderful. I’ve stayed there previously, but this time the rooms that my friends &!I had seemed to need some repair. Mattresses were definitely out dated/uncomfortable, hooks on bathroom door missing, hair dryer broken off the wall and towels pretty old. Again, I’ve stayed there in past years with no complaints and as always, the staff was very nice & helpful. I’m hoping that they are just in the process of remodeling & if so we will be back. "

"An interesting property in a lovely setting by the south fork of the Eel River. The mushroom tacos I got at the bar were very tasty. French toast waffles for breakfast were a novelty."

"You get what you expect from a motel. Old furniture, spotty carpet floors, a bit smelly, and sometimes absent front desk. But not bad for the price."

"Enjoyed my stay at the lodge and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Stayed on a weekday after a long drive and there are currently no meal options during the week. It would be nice to have had food options on property besides the market across the street."

"The only problem we had was there was nowhere for our dog to go to the bathroom. And no outside trash cans to put the poop bags in. Other than that, the pillows were extremely comfortable and they had coffee in the room. They did not have a hairdryer."
