Exellent accommodation and location for us
The house is lovely, with a beautiful view over the surrounding pastoral landscape from the rooftop terrace. The facilities are good, bedrooms comfortable, kitchen well supplied. The location in a small village east of Evora and west of Monsaraz is a very good base for exploring. Communication with the owners and leading up to check in could have been better.

A piece of paradise
This property is in a small village but worth staying at for its charm and peacefulness. You will need a vehicle but Evora is only a 20 minute drive away. This beautiful house has everything you need to make your stay feel like you’re at home. I could have spent my entire time there on the balcony overlooking the countryside. Simply put, a slice of heaven.

Attractive and comfortable
Lovely accommodation in quiet village. Delightful courtyard garden and roof terrace. Paula the house keeper was very helpful and pleasant. Surrounding area very beautiful.

Really nice house and an experience of rural Portugal
We spent a week touring Portugal, moving between hotels, and then a week based here - good blend. The house is lovely, and something of a Tardis - much bigger inside than you imagine from outside. It was totally clean, comfortable and well equipped - we loved it. We were lucky with the January weather so enjoyed the upper terrace and our only advice would be to trim the cactus outside the courtyard so as to allow the view from the patio. The village is not at all touristy or posh, but we found it interesting to experience. The surrounding area is extremely well farmed. We alternated days driving out to lovely places like Evora, Monsaraz and the Megaliths; and days just "chilling" at the house, with the log fire in evenings.

We loved our stay here
This was a lovely cottage in a small village with a beautiful view from the rooftop patio. We received a welcoming basket and we were provided good information about the amenities in the cottage. Additionally our hosts were able to respond to our texts in regards to questions we had. I wish we had been able to stay a few more days as this is an excellent base for exploring around the area if you have a car. Thanks so much Natalia and Joao.

Village authentique
Le gîte nous a d'emblée seduites. Refait en conservant ses caractéristiques, il est confortable. Les températures extérieures etaient de 35 degrés mais il garde la fraîcheur. Paula qui nous a accueilli est efficace et à l'écoute. La chaleur nous a empêché de profiter pleinement de cette region si typique qu'est l'Alentjo

Viver no Alentejo durante 4 dias
A casa oferece todo o conforto para passarmos uns dias de férias. Foi como viver no Alentejo numa das suas casas brancas e janelas rodeadas de azul. Muito bom!!

Primavera inesquecível no Alentejo!!!
Alentejo, uma região magnífica, de tirar o fôlego. No número 16 da rua de Fora, casa de João e Natália, passamos uma semana inesquecível. Casa muito bem equipada e aconchegante. Do alpendre vimos a lua cheia nascer e o pôr do sol inebriante. Nada mais alentejano.

Não nos faltou nada
A casa é bem decorada, confortavel, bem aquecida (além da lareira tem aquecedores em todos os quartos), a roupa de cama é super macia, e tem uma bela vista de campo. Vamos certamente voltar.

Tudo Ótimo!!!
A estadia foi sem dúvida uma agradável e maravilhosa surpresa! Desde a atenção dada pelo Sr.João (proprietario), passando pela recepção na chegada, limpeza da casa e de todos os utensílios, decoração até o ambiente muito familiar da casa, tudo muito caprichado! Foram poucos dias, teremos de voltar com certeza!!!

Un petit coin bien agréable
Cette location est sympa ,bien équipée , le plus étant la terrasse très agréable le soir. Bien situé pour les visites . Juste une petite remarque :pourriez vous mettre une bassine à disposition ainsi qu'une deuxième poêle .

Maison coquette, accueil charmant!
Séjour hyper agréable dans cette maison aménagée avec goût et soin des détails. Tout y est et même plus! Panier d'accueil. Cuisine super équipée et tous les ustensiles. Deux grandes chambres aux lits très confortables. Nous avons bien profité de la cour extérieure fleurie et de la terrasse sur le toit avec vue imprenable et coucher de soleil sur la campagne d'Alentejo:-) Le village de Montoito est idéalement situé à mi-chemin entre Evora et Monsaraz. Au restaurant du village, nous avons dégusté le meilleur plat de notre séjour en Alentejo! Cuisine traditionnelle préparée avec coeur. Aussi, l'épicerie et la boulangerie sont bien pratiques! En bref, un endroit où il fait bon se reposer au coeur de la campagne. Merci aux hôtes! Anne... de Belgique

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette région du Portugal. La maison est très jolie, bien équipée, les deux terrasses donnant sur la campagne environnante sont un atout supplémentaire.Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le panier d'accueil offert par les propriétaires, leur gentillesse et leur disponibilité. Very cute house, lovely details and very comfortable
The house is in a small village very quiet and relaxing. It has a nice rooftop terrace with a view over the landscape. But watch the stairs they are steep. The location is good for trips within Alentejo. You will need a car though. The house has a lovely fireplace very romantic and also heating so it was not cold inside when we were there in March. Joao and Natalia prepared us a welcome basket with food and wine, which was very much appreciated. The house had very comfortable beds and was equipped with really everything you might need. We are a family with 2 kids, a baby and a 3 years old and we enjoyed our stay very much. Also everything was there for the baby, a baby bed, a high chair and even a bath tub. We can recommend everyone to go there. Thanks a lot to Natalia and Joao.
