"My recent stay at Comfort Suites University Research Park in Charlotte was overall mediocre—neither terrible nor particularly impressive. Upon arrival, the room initially seemed fine, but a few issues quickly stood out. The refrigerator had clearly not been cleaned out prior to my check-in, and there was leftover pizza inside that had a noticeable smell. That was definitely off-putting and made the room feel less well-maintained than expected. Another disappointment was the pool, which is listed as one of the amenities. Unfortunately, it was out of order during my stay. I understand that maintenance issues can happen, but it would have been helpful to know in advance since that was something I was looking forward to using. Additionally, the bathroom could have been cleaner. While it wasn’t unusable, it didn’t meet the standard I would expect for a comfortable hotel stay. That said, the stay wasn’t all bad. The bed was comfortable, and the overall experience was okay. The staff didn’t cause any issues, and the hotel itself was relatively quiet. In the end, it wasn’t a terrible stay, but it also wasn’t the best. With better attention to cleanliness and communication about amenities, it could be a much better experience."

"Rooms are absolutely disgusting. Stained couch, chair and carpet. Smelled like pee. The carpet was sticky. We had two children with us and this was absolutely the nastiest experience we have ever had and we trace a lot."

"This might actually be one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at aside from a couple of five stars. But the employees were awesome! The bed was fantastic! They served a light dinner / snacks! If I am ever in an area with another Drury Inn, if they are all like this I will be a customer for life!"

"We paid £500 for two days of waterpark and a room for a night, fo myself and my son. We got there no room availible to check in, so had to leave all oir belongings in the open. We stayed for 4 hrs as my son could see past the cleanliness, then left. I mentioned it to staff, but they just appeared happy to take our money. I basically paid £500 to spend 4hrs in a dirty, over crowded waterpark. Terrible experiance, and aligns with most peoplea views who have attended the park. This is on Expedia also, you should not be dealing with buisness this bad. "
