Holly's Beach Folly - Amazing Waterfront Villa, Sandy Beachfront, Pool, East End

"We had a lovely time at Holly's Folly. We liked the quiet and privacy of the location. Being footsteps from the calm water was very nice. My wife, the animal lover, enjoyed the daily visits from God's creatures. The caretaker cleaned the pool twice per week and shared much information about the island's wildlife. The caretaker also checked the cistern while he was there, it was very comforting to know we wouldn't run out of water during our stay. We didn't know about the lack of bathroom doors before booking; this aspect of the house was very uncomfortable. I guess it is okay if one is not sharing a bedroom, but sharing a bedroom without a bathroom door is something we will not do again."

"Menu for breakfast and dinner at the buffet was changed every day. Our experience wad that the food was really good. No complaints here. We knew about the seaweed issue so we went to the local beach which was offered by shuttle and enjoyed the pool daily. Room was clean and very roomy. Facility seemed to be under-staffed but staff that was working was very friendly and helpful and good at their job. Pool bar/resturant had lots of bees, probably due to the sweet drinks ordered. Had daily crafting at the pool, (tie-dye, painting, etc.,) which was wonderful for us crafting folks. Lol. Overall not a bad experience for us. Very pleased."

Splash of Lime - Private Hilltop Pool Oasis!

"We just got back from our eight day stay at Splash of Lime. I do not have enough good things to say about the place! First, it is absolutely gorgeous and even more beautiful than pictures or video can show you. The private pool was absolutely a highlight for us. There were pool floats and we spent many hours floating in the peace and quiet. Next to the house there was also a deck box that had everything we needed for the beach… Beach chairs, a cooler, and umbrella, flippers for snorkeling—everything we needed.Inside was just as perfect. We found just about everything we needed for cooking and grilling. There is also an awesome Keurig that can make regular coffee or lattes and cappuccinos. Our hosts also provided a ton of K cups so we didn’t have to worry about purchasing those. The kitchen was fully stocked with basic spices and cleaning supplies. The bathroom also had a lot more supplies than I was expecting – the shower came with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and face wash. They also had some bug spray and sunscreen, just in case we ran out! I really feel like Hillery and Tom thought of everything.The bed was soooo comfortable and there were lots of pillows to choose from. The grounds of Villa Madeleine were beautiful and quiet, and everything a couple needing a getaway wants!The worst part of our trip was having to come home! We will definitely be back and will have zero hesitation booking with Hillery and Tom again! Thanks so much for sharing your place with us!"

"Our stay at this villa was very enjoyable. The place is decorated nicely the kitchen was well stocked had everything you need if you want to eat at home. The bed was comfortable. The pool was great, the place was so peaceful and private and the view is amazing. A good base for exploring the island. On Wednesday evening we went to Castaways bar which was a 6 minute drive the food was good and had fun playing bingo. I would also recommend Rum Runner bar/restaurant in Christiansted great cocktails and the best beer battered shrimp I've ever tasted."

"The Seaview Palms Villa was AMAZING! My wife and I enjoyed the seclusion and privacy of the villa's location in the gated community. The lush tropical plants lining the path to the villa were very tranquil. The villa was clean and welcoming. The furnishing and decor felt like home, and appliances were updated. The private pool definitely a bonus! We loved spending time poolside at night listening to nature.Both the tenants and workers at Villa Madeleine were very friendly. Alvin was a gem! Although the local cat Ben was standoffish at first, he ended up being a regular visitor on the front porch. My wife and I have visited St. Croix many times, but this was our first time staying on the East End of the island. Being twenty minutes from downtown Christiansted, we thought we might feel isolated. This was far from the case. We met so many wonderful locals at Ziggy's, The Sausage Shack, and America's Cheeseburger in Paradise. The drive to and from Christiansted became second nature. AND so close to so many beautiful beaches!Our hosts Linden and Jennifer were easily accessible and answered our questions in a timely manner. We plan to be regulars at this villa!"
