Good value for the price
A very nice hotel with 2 restaurants on the premises, a very popular Asian restaurant and a fine dining restaurant in the hotel. Next door is a Neapolitan pizza restaurant that is also very good. The beds are typically extra firm, but I imagine the hotel can provide an extra pad if requested by American guests. The location is good across from the Stadio Communale.

Upgraded to multiple room suite. Clean. Appeared newly renovated. Skylights & spacious. Nice breakfast included. 15 minute walk to the city center. Short walk to the train station.

The hotel is perfectly located, close to downtown and yet easy to reach by car. The mattress could be a touch more comfortable

We have stayed at the Europa five or six times and have had no difficulties ever. It offers a fine breakfast and is close to the old train station. The staff has been very helpful with all our questions.

Clean, good breakfast, spacious, location
Located very near to the station (less than 10 mins walk), and yet near enough to the centre to walk (15 mins), makes this hotel a great choice. Rooms were spacious enough, and very clean. The Buffet Breakfast was extensive. Overall a great option, for a good price compared to what else it available in Reggio.

Gem of a hotel
Second time staying in Reggio Emilia. Staff was friendly. Breakfast buffet had ample choices. Ordered room service 3 of 6 nites and was delivered promptly and was delicious. Room was comfortable and clean. 10-15 minute walk to City Center. Stored our bags day of check out from noon to 6 pm and staff was gracious and helpful. Would stay again on next visit. Great spot. I am 64 year old female and shared room with my 25 year old daughter who was visiting host families in Reggio.

If you can find something better, go for it.
Old, staff not too friendly, cold rooms, good look with the shower. Breakfast pretty good for Italian standards, parking good.

Terrible hotel!
Friendly staff, but useless!Air conditioning did not work, and no one moved the finger!The explanation was this is happening!I asked for compensation and was denied!Breakfast was extremely inadequate and simple !Five guests of the hotel hardly looked at one croissant.There were a few slices yellow cheese and ham and a dried cake.Only the boy at breakfast was at a good level!This is not a 4 star hotel!

Nice hotel in good location.
The hotel is across the road from the train station so very convenient. Reggio Emilia isn't really on the tourist trail as we tried 8 banks and none of them would change Australian dollars to Euros. Not many people spoke English but we got by.

Centrally located hotel.
This is the scond time that I have stayed at this hotel, and I found it to be a comfortable hotel with a fairly decent breakfast. It is centrally located (and only a short walk from the main railway station) and the staff are helpful.

Very convenient , easy walk to the city centre.
The hotel is very conveniently located, close to bothe the train station and city centre. The restaurant is good quality and so is the bar. The staff were very friendly and extra helpful. My room cleaner always made an extra effort , like giving extra towels when needed and finding a lost earring and placing on the bench.

Great hotel in Reggio Emilia
From the free undercover carpark where we could unpack out of the snow to the welcoming staff and comfortable room, Europa was a winner! The bed was good, the bathroom well equipped, good towels, etc. We ate at the restaurant which was very busy being a Saturday night. Food was good and well priced. Breakfast was good too. Only a short walk from the historic city centre and other restaurants.

Good base for Emilia romagna trip
We used this hotel as a base for a weekend trip to Emilia Romagna (coming from the Veneto). We saw Mantova & Parma enroute, stayed overnight & then went to Modena, an acetaia, to Bologna and stayed a second night. The hotel was very clean. Our room was a triple with a sofa. We are a family

Hmmmm.
Neighborhood a zero. No restaurants were open on a Monday night, no one at all. Room was nice. Front desk nice. Had a well made dinner, but no one would give us the check or end the meal.....they all seemed to want to ignore us. So mixed bag all around.

It was ok, not superb. I have to travel extensively and carry only enough clothing for one week. This is the first hotel that I had to wait three days for laundry. You have to plan closely since only the five week days are available for laundry.

Good hotel close to the city centre.
This comfortable hotel was in a very good location with a reasonable size room and bathroom. The breakfast room was inviting with a good selection of food. We were pleased with this hotel and would recommend it to others. There was one problem however......the room reeked of stale tobacco smoke. After a few days of putting up with this, I finally worked out that it was the bedspread that stank! We asked for it to be changed and it was done immediately. The tobacco smell then subsided (but not completely). But even this problem would not put me off coming back to this hotel.
