This hotel is under major renovation and is located in a very unsafe area. The hotel was not clear and very dated. I have stayed here in the past as it used to be great for families.

Everything in regards to the hotel itself was fantastic. The housekeepers were lovely, the female front desk staff were also lovely. I cannot say the same about the male staff member who checked us in, he wasn’t outrageously rude or anything, but definitely shouldn’t be the forefront of welcoming guests into a business. The surrounding area has a lot of sad scenes going on and unfortunately the sad scene does enter the building and participate in fentanyl in the stairwells and left their used condoms behind, but that is not relevant to the hotel itself. Once the front desk was notified of the situation they quickly had it cleaned up. The king size bed we have was probably the most comfy bed I’ve ever slept in. The pool area was great as usual, although they definitely should get another sauna or steam room- I definitely recommend a travel to the seven Oaks!

When first walked in the room smelled like urine, the room was awfully hot although there was a thermostat it didn’t change the temperature. The microwave wasn’t working , but the staff was very helpful in trying to get it to work. Staff was all around very helpful and nice and even gave us a discount for all the troubles.

Staff was absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately at about 3am a screaming match started in the hallway outside our rooms. It was serious enough that the police were called. Unsettling for the kids and it went on for quite some time. Rooms are really nice. Hallways were pretty run down with some old 70’s looking carpet. Pool was wonderful and the kids had a blast in it and the waterslide.
