"So. This review only refers to the hotel. Schluchsee and the surrounding area is amazing and I absolutely recommend the restaurant Seehof in Schluchsee, although they also have service issues. The hotel is by far not as nice and comfortable as advertised in the pictures and on Expedia as a whole. The rooms are quite frankly a catastrophe in this price segment; no amenities except for a fridge, no AC, no ceiling fan, not even a water boiler. "Great experience overall! Very clean hotel! Very cute rooms!! We loved them! The only reason we didn’t leave a better review is because of the parking situation- we spent about 4 hours of our one day stay looking for parking around the hotel, the staff member kept telling us different locations of where we could or couldn’t park during off times- I’d recommend some sort of instructions for quests on parking if it’s meant to be that difficult."
