The villa itself is a historic home and the family offered us the chance to read about its history, which made our stay even more memorable. "A rustic property in the quaint village of Longpont, this hotel felt a little like one of those “Restaurants with rooms” concepts that are springing up now, in that everything revolves around the restaurant, more or less. And that’s no bad thing, as the restaurant serves excellent dinners on it’s lovely outdoor terrace (with inside dining too if the weather is bad) The room was cosy and functional if a littlest basic feeling, and despite the rural. setting had the best wifi of the past dozen...

"We arrived late around 9pm from driving all day, the check in is through a machine you have to type in your reservation in a computer and it was fine just a lot extra to do, the rooms smelled like cigarettes, toilet very loud and we could hear everyone around us! The breakfast was okay, food options were good. It was super empty but good parking (free) and I would stay again if it was only for an overnight stay "
