Bessie’s Dream is a newly built villa located in the peaceful village of Adele, just a 15-minute drive from Rethymnon town. Covering 115 sqm and featuring modern architecture and stylish furnishings, it offers a comfortable and relaxing stay with beautiful views of the North coast and the surrounding mountains.



Interior:

The ground floor includes a spacious living room with a dining area, a double bedroom, and a modern shower/WC. The fully equipped open-plan kitchen has direct access to the outdoor BBQ area—perfect for al fresco dining. Large doors from the living room open to a furnished terrace overlooking the private pool.



On the first floor, there are two more bedrooms—one with a double bed and one with two single beds—each with its own en-suite bathroom. Both rooms open to a large terrace shaded by a modern wooden pergola. All bedrooms offer air conditioning and flat-screen TVs.



Upgraded Sleeping Comfort

All mattresses have recently been replaced with new anatomical, Candia Acanthus mattresses, ensuring enhanced support and high-quality sleep for all guests.

The villa features air conditioning throughout, satellite TV, an alarm system, a dishwasher, a washing machine and free high-speed WiFi.

Outside, you will find a private 28 sqm swimming pool with sun loungers, umbrellas, outdoor seating, BBQ facilities and private parking.

Adele village has a supermarket just 500 m away, while the famous Agreco Farm tavern is only 900 m from the property.

The seaside area of Adelianos Kampos (2–3 km) offers sandy beaches and plenty of amenities such as supermarkets, bakery, butcher shops, clothing and shoe stores, souvenir shops, a jewelry store and medical services.Adele is located about 8 km east of Rethymnon, on the road leading to the historic Arkadi Monastery.

Bessie's Dream villa

Everything in the villa was as advertised, exceptionally clean, and to a high spec. The location is excellent, with a 10 minute drive to Rethymno (park at the main port as its cheap, 24 hours and an easy walk to the old town) and although we didn’t use it, noticed there’s also a bus service that runs through Adele. With a car, the villa is about an hour to Heraklion to the East, the same to Chania to the West and about the same, over the mountains to the South coast. A great location for exploring the island. The housekeeping service was brilliant with more new towels and clean bed linen provided during our stay and the pool was cleaned so it remained spotless. The layout of the villa is really good with two decent sized balconies where we spent some warm evenings having a few drinks and leaving us with good memories. There are other villas either side which was a slight concern when we booked, thinking we may be overlooked, but that was never an issue and there was more than enough privacy. The beds as other reviews have mentioned were a bit on the hard side, but there is a notice on the table advising mattress toppers can be provided. Even without the toppers, not an issue and if anything, did my back the world of good. Communication before and during our stay was really good and left no worries about our stay. Would I book the villa again if coming back to Crete, simple answer is yes. Bessie’s dream villa ticked all the boxes and is an ideal base for your holida

Bessies Dream sehr zu emfpehlen!

Wir waren vor 3 Jahren als Freundesgruppe im etwas größeren Nachbarhaus Manuels Dream. Dort hatte es so gut gefallen, dass wir in diesem Jahr uns für Bessies Dream entschieden haben. Der Gastgeber und die Bauart sind die gleichen. Es war wie zu erwarten ein wunderschöner Urlaub in dieser Unterkunft. Das Haus ist sehr modern und es gibt nahezu keine Gebrauchsspuren. Der Gastgeber Mr. Angelo kümmert sich hervorragend und schafft alle Probleme zeitnah aus der Welt. Mit einem Mietwagen ist man sehr schnell am Strand oder in Rethymno.

Perfect stay!

The house was super clean and we especially really liked that it was cleaned two times a week and that the cleaner also took out the trash. Also the pool was very nice and totally sufficient for 7 people! There are some really cute supermarkets in the area and the way to Rethymno is very short. We loved the house and the super friendly staff. We had an amazing stay and would totally come back again! The only thing that could be improved are the beds, they are kind of hard. But apart from that everything was amazing!
