Our Villa Cornelia is located in a fantastic valley that tourists love to explore by tourist train, bicycle, or jeep. Close to the beach and far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist crowds. Rethymno is a 15-minute drive from us. The house has four self-contained apartments and is fully equipped and air-conditioned. Only three of the four apartments are available for rent. Just pack your swimming costumes and go—you can do your shopping in the port and boutique town of Rethymno, which is 15 minutes from the house. The beach and Costa Bay are just a 5-minute drive away. The area is particularly known for its pleasant climate. Although located near tourist areas, here in the valley—nestled among the olive groves—you won’t feel much of the tourist bustle. We’re located about 950 metres from the village of Asteri. To be on the safe side, we’d be happy to send you directions to our villa so you know exactly how to get here from Heraklion or Chania Airport.

Transport: The Chania–Rethymno–Heraklion highway is 2 km away; Heraklion Airport is about 55 minutes away; Chania Airport is about 1 hour and 10 minutes away; and the Rethymno ferry terminal is about 15 minutes away. There’s a bus service to Rethymno, where you’ll find cafes, taverns, and various cultural attractions. The village of Asteri, ideal for small shopping trips, is 900 metres away. Large supermarkets are 5 minutes away, and a Lidl store is 10 minutes away.

Amenities:
The two-room apartment on the ground floor features a living/sleeping area, a separate bedroom, and a very comfortable sofa bed, accommodating a total of 2–3 people or children, and has its own terrace with a pergola.

All apartments are equipped with:
Colour TV (satellite connection), some with a DVD player
Kitchen: includes dishes, oven, electric stove, refrigerator; the large apartment also has a dishwasher, coffee maker, and electric kettle
Bathroom: shower/bathtub, hair dryer
Air conditioning included during the summer months

Towels and bed linens are changed, and cleaning is provided twice a week. Cleaning supplies, clothes pegs, tea towels, etc., are provided.

Pool and garden:
A large shared swimming pool is available. There is a separate children’s pool for the little ones. A large grill is available for barbecue evenings. The ground-floor apartment has its own grill.

For your safety, we have provided the addresses and phone numbers of a German-speaking family doctor on-site. A hospital, dentists, and we ourselves are happy to assist you with advice and support. We want to make sure you have everything you need. That is our commitment.
