About this property
Traditional House With Pool And Great View!
- Villa Gaia is a traditional stone built house, recently renovated (2008), located in a quiet area in the village Skouloufia, 18km away from Rethymno. The villa is built in one floor layout. On the exterior of the house, there is a big yard with a 25sqm swimming pool with sunchairs and umbrellas around it , a stone made barbecue and a garden. There is also a large veranda with a dining table covered by a pergola. The house has a spectacular view to the sea and the surrounding area, which the visitor can enjoy from the yard.
Ideally suitable for 5 people, there are three bedrooms in the Villa, all with view to the sea – one with double bed and terrace, one with semi-double bed and terrace and one with twin beds. A baby cot is also provided to the guests.
The house has a spacious dining and living room, traditionally decorated, with a fireplace and a smart satellite TV with a Blueray player and an open plan fully equipped kitchen. There is also one bathroom with W/C, and hydro massage bath.
All of the rooms are fully air conditioned. The combination of the air conditioning, the fireplace and the sun heating makes the house suitable for all the seasons of the year.
There are many villages with tavernas, mini markets and pharmacies nearby, as well as many historical sightseeing like the Arkadi monastery (8kms away) and the ancient Eleytherna (7kms away). The nearest beach is only 6 km away from the villa, in the village Stavromenos.
