"The property has been really nicely changed over to a Hilton property. Breakfast was really nice. Clean and plenty of things to choose from. Overall I really enjoyed my stay here. The only exception was the lady working at the front desk. She was unnecessarily unpleasant. Very short answers no eye contact not helpful. She was in fairness there all day till evening nevertheless in the position of front desk greeting folks etc you have to at least try. Other than that my stay was good. Location is also very good."

"The place was extremely clean and updated. There were two of us and I loved that each bedroom had its own full bath, which itself was spacious, although the front bathroom shower was small but did the job. Lots of fridge space. Checkin/out was seamless. I utilized the outdoor seating areas to read and appreciated having that option. Parking in back was appreciated but best for compact vehicles (there’s ample street parking right out front). Communication was fast and respectful.Both of us thought the decor was nice/minimalist, but also could use some warmth like plants or more comfort away from home. One minor issue seemed to be the mini-splits; they don’t seem to get that cold to truly cool the space off, moreso a smaller shift in temp. That being said, would definitely stay here again. Great location to campus and great spot to split with someone while also having some privacy."

"We booked two rooms for our trip. Our rooms were booked by the host in separate buildings...far from each other. Both of the rooms we were given were not cleaned upon our arrival, which was well after the check in time. It took a while to get new rooms. I had to go out of my way to suggest that our rooms, which were booked together, were in the same building. The rooms were nice. I will say that I didn't feel very safe as a women staying on this property. There isn't much protecting you from strangers. The room doors have deadbolts but with no employees onsite I didn't feel as safe. The rooms were very clean and as expected. You can hear everything going on in the rooms above you. So, if you are a light sleeper this may not be your best option. It was nice having onsite parking in a secure garage. It would have been nicer if we were able to access the garage by one of the other doors closer to our assigned building, rather than having to navigate all the way back to the garage door itself. The garage door is closest to building 1-5...if you are staying the the other higher number buildings you will need to lug your luggage a long way. I'd stay here with a group. I would not stay here alone as a woman for safety reasons. You are better off at a hotel."

"This was a good place to stay close to Ohio State University. Placed our reservation on line. The signs say Fairfield but once we got inside the desk clerk said welcome to the comfort Inn by Marriott. Very confusing. Cleanliness and upkeep of the property was fair at best. I think the upkeep was the biggest problem making it look less clean. It was a nice room and comfortable bed but the bathroom light was attached to the fan and it squealed for a long time after being turned on. Finally the squealing stopped so we left it on all night with the door closed. It was that or go into a totally dark bathroom. TV worked well as did the internet connection which was free. So not a bad stay, but not the best of Marriott."
