"Mary, the host, was excellent with communicating any requested info about the house and town of Eastport. We were three older couples who needed comfortable bedrooms, and happily all beds were very comfortable with no lumps or sags. The two queen bedrooms on the second floor both had roomy closets and dressers so there was plenty of space to unpack into; the small connecting bathroom had a shower/tub, sink and toilet. Downstairs, the trundle bed/office room had direct access to the bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet, That bathroom also opened to the kitchen. The kitchen was well equipped and the dining area a good size for six people. There were condiments in the fridge from previous tenants, spices, herbs and other basics. We appreciated all of the games in the house and also a great selection of books. The laundry room had a sink, a place to hang clothes if needed, and a closet with extra paper towels and toilet paper. We've been renting houses in Maine for about 20 years and this was among the best equipped for daily needs. The view of the beach and water were wonderful, and the road by the house was perfect for a good no traffic half hour walk."

"This is an ideal place to stay when visiting Eastport and everything there is to do in this area! The view is stunning, the house is perfectly locked in to quickly get into Eastport, and the owners have taken care to fully outfit in the house with anything you may need during your stay, including a beautiful, welcome bag of local specialties!"

"This place more than met our expectations!Couldn't ask for a more private and quiet spot. We were in the middle of a sanctuary.The home had everything we needed.Comunications with the host was great.Watching the tides come in and out was our favorite pastime.Great walking trails nearby.Would stay here again."

"This was our first trip to up-east Maine and Campobello Island, NB, and we loved using this charming cottage as a base camp. It was so restful to come home each night to this beautiful and peaceful setting! The expansive deck was perfect for bird-watching, listening to nature and watching the tide reverse each day. We had one rainy day during our stay and the house was perfect for finding a cozy nook to read-- even playing the baby grand piano! The kitchen is well-stocked for cooking and baking, and we took great advantage of eating in a couple of days. We found the house to be very clean and comfortable (charming mid century decor) and would definitely come back again. Highly recommend this charming cottage-in-the-Maine-woods and these wonderful, responsive hosts."

"Apartment was spotless. Kitchen was well equipped. No problems at all. Enjoyed meeting and speaking with the housekeeper- very nice , friendly, and certainly knows how to clean. She’s a keeper. Look forward to our next stay at one of the host’s properties."

"Great stay and spacious clean home. Lovely view and quiet area. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, plenty of towels and supplies. The local deer enjoy the nearby apple trees. We loved the carved whale door with its stained glass. The only thing worth mentioning is that the second bedroom uses a bathroom on a different level."

"We enjoyed our stay at this home in Lubec. It is walkable (15 to 20 minutes) to the downtown area/Mowry Beach and an easy drive to Campobello Island. There is a good restaurant close by. The lodging was clean, recently redone and has a lovely porch. Everyone was impressed with the shower. I'd stay here again."
