This is a cute little house, centrally located in the middle of Reykjavík. We were able to walk to all sites. It is also close to a number of grocery stores and has a nice dining area to facilitate home cooked meals. It also has an unusually good number of electric outlets though out the house.
A few things to note:
* We were 5 adults, and, as we were using the living room as a third bedroom, there was not a lot of extra space for hanging and socializing.
* We arrived at 8pm on a weeknight and had to park pretty far away. There were rarely parking spaces open directly in front of the house.
* To reach and use the microwave on top of fridge, we had to stand on a chair.
* There is a nice new washing machine in the upstairs bathroom, but no dryer or drying rack.
* There were some supplies in the kitchen (plates, pots and pans, knives), but be prepared to buy spices or other condiments
* Check Google street view for a picture of the outside of the house, as nextdoor is also house #22.
The cozy house uses space very efficiently, with drawers and shelves to unpack in each of the three sleeping areas. There is a large dining room table and doors that open onto the back patio to create airflow and the feel of open space. The hotpot (i.e., hot tub) in the back was great and provided an authentic Iceland experience :) The bathrooms are both nice, with heated floors, great towels, and a nice rock floor in the shower.
Overall, a nice place to Reykjavik, especially if you are four or fewer people.
