"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful 7-night stay at this property in Sawmill Settlement! The location is fantastic—super close to Mt. Buller, making it extremely convenient for trips up the mountain. For a group of 4 adults and 4 kids, the layout was surprisingly spacious, and it never felt crowded or congested. Having two toilets and a large bathtub was a huge plus for a family trip.The house kept us exceptionally warm and comfortable throughout our stay. The fireplace worked brilliantly, and we really appreciated the generous supply of stacked firewood—at times it was so cozy inside we were comfortably walking around in t-shirts and shorts despite the cold outside weather.Nearly everything in the home worked great and was offered at a very reasonable price. The only minor drawback was that the vacuum cleaner didn't have much suction power, but overall it was a fantastic experience. Highly recommended for families or group stays!"

"We had a group of 13 people stay here for 6 nights for our snow trip this year, and we had a great experience.The location is fantastic — this is probably one of the closest off-mountain properties you can get, only about a 5-minute drive to the Mount Buller entry gate.The kids absolutely loved the three baby goats and had so much fun playing with and feeding them.The owner, Melita, was extremely helpful, friendly and easy to reach. She always replied to messages very quickly. One of our friends accidentally left her phone at the house after we had already checked out and returned to Melbourne. I contacted Melita, and she promptly searched the house, found the phone, and even brought it back to Melbourne so my friend could collect it.We really appreciated her help and hospitality. Highly recommended, especially for families or larger groups planning a Mount Buller snow trip!"

"Honestly, it was just so beautiful, warm and lovely. The timber interior everywhere really made the experience of being in a cabin ultimate. Loved being by the fireplace constantly. Had a nice selection of books and dvds to pick from. The place was a decent size for 2 people and a large dog. Airfrier was perfect for warming up a pie we bought in town. The river being in the backyard was amazing. So nice to walk along it in the morning, which the doggo loved. Andy was friendly, responsive and helpful.We would love to stay here again."
