Loved the history this hotel had. Beautiful inside and out. Room was very spacious and view from window was spectacular.

- Expedia get directions gets you no-where. Then had to put the property address in Google Maps to get there. - Such a nice hotel, hope they had proper road to get it. Had to wash the car after the stay. - Breakfast was fantastic and nice terrace with view.

Good hotel amazing on outside bit dated inside
Hotel is as amazing in person from the outside as it is in photos, really amazing building. Inside it reminded me of a school. A bit tired but still ok. Main problem was the A/C didn’t work no matter what I tried so was a bit hot. Bed was huge, bathroom ok. Breakfast nice on terrace overlooking courtyard.

Beautiful place, large rooms, very good breakfast. The only problem was that at the checkout they charged us at our local coin without asking us and it cost us a little more

This is definitely a beautiful establishment. However there is very little information given to you as to where things are located. We made dinner reservations when we checked in and she wrote down the time. She handed us a paper to go to our room. We had to stumble to find that. At dinner we wondered around to find where the restaurant was (no signs) and when we asked the desk they said "end of hall turn right". We did so and all doors were closed but one partially open. No one in sight in this small room. Nothing in english. We finally rang a bell that was for room service. There needs to be better help for non Italian speaking guests.

Wonderful 15 th century building. Great friendly staff. However I have slept on more comfortable floors than the bed. Felt so sore and stiff afterwards.

An elegant hotel some 250 years old, period styling in keeping with the period. Modernised to be tasteful and comfortable. Good breakfast

The property looks grand from the entrance but once inside you will find a blan and rundown property. Hallways look like something out of an old insane asylum with sterile looking corridors and doors. No warmth or welcoming atmosphere at all. Room was spacious but crowded with unnecessary and uncomfortable furniture. Bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. Bar and restaurant very limited. Staff is friendly but when I called about my forgotten electric adapter they couldn’t seem to understand my inquiry and were unhelpful. I don’t understand how a hotel that has all your contact info including a copy of your passport can’t contact you when they find your forgotten items in your room to arrange its return. Other hotels have done this for me in the past but clearly the service here is not the same. Highly disappointing choice for our stay and a low point on our 2 week tour of Italy.

This is heaven on earth , the building staff and surroundings are out of this world , food is cheap and excellent and the prices is cheaper than a London travel lodge! Do yourself a favour and book now before someone spoils it!

great entrance road leading up to the hotel. very spacious and nice staff. the road and parking lot is not paved so it can get dusty!
