Gramtahouse is 5* hospitality at a 2* premises. I cannot fault the hospitality at all. Norman was incredibly helpful and the property manager was always at the other end of the phone to assist if that was required. The property is rather dated and is in need of an internal facelift, heating and better hot water system. A deep clean, some new curtains and new duvets and covers wouldn't go amiss. Keeping the cats out of the villa would make the place feel cleaner and stop the smell of cat urine. Small tweaks could really unleash this property and the team. The hotel was in a vibrant location. Might not be for everyone as it was in a bustling old town location but we loved the culture. The interior decor of the location was also great. But the room was quite horrible. It felt like camping more than a hotel. Very cold floors. Bathroom very old, overflows, flush stopped for a bit. Hardly any amenities in the room such as absence of paper bin or enough lighting. There was a small mirror and the sink mirror and that's about it. No tea or coffee or even kettle in room. We had to go order some tea for £6! Just wate and tea! The walla are plastered which isn't a problem but on areas it looks really bad like damp. It could actually be damp I'm just hoping not. The general outside looks and the room has no similarity.

The room was spotless , the staff delightful and for what I paid great value. Would love to go again however as a sole female traveler do note this Riad is tucked away down some slightly quieter streets in the Medina. Everyone was lovely and lots of nice little touches such as complimentary tea and Moroccan pastries when you arrive. They also provided me with a lovely packed breakfast as I was leaving very early on my day of Departure

Great Hotel Highly Recommended. Staff very attentive and professional. Great amenities and very conveniently located.
