Spectacular sea views
A very beautiful and spacious villa. It is equipped with cooking facilities and a barbecue. The views from the windows and the three bedrooms are unbeatable. A lovely swimming pool (which can be heated for an additional fee), and a washing machine and tumble dryer are provided. It is completely quiet in the evenings, which meant we had a good night’s .
The soundproofing is poor, so you need to hang curtains and put up pictures and rugs to stop the sound echoing around the house in fact, it’s impossible to have a conversation because there’s an immediate resonance. Also, it’s not comfortable to watch TV during the day, as there’s no window shading. If someone moves a chair in the dining room, the whole house wakes up because the sound is so loud, so it would be good to put sturdy pads on the chairs (not stickers, which peel off straight away). Also, the tumble dryer isn’t connected to the drain, so all the condensation collects in a tank. This is strange, as there’s a washing machine right next to it that does have a drain. And when doing a wash, there’s a terrible smell of sewage that spreads throughout the whole building. I reckon there’s no vent pipe or something like that.
And the management company takes ages to respond to enquiries. We had a power cut, and the official account replied the next day at 12 noon, asking if the power was back on. Luckily, I managed to get through in the evening on one of the phone numbers I found on the website.
