The staff was great but we did not receive an upgrade and the EUR 16 discount was only if you stayed for 4 nights. The room was a standard room without a proper door to the bathroom (glass and curtain) and no outdoor lights. Expedia over promise with their premium benefits but the only benefit was a free drink!

Beautiful location, but hotel overall feels quite dated. Our room smelled very musty and we had difficulty airing it out. The pool area was nice.
