"This property is so incredibly peaceful and relaxing. We loved mornings and evenings on the deck watching horses and cows on the hillside while listening to birds. Short drive into Erie, where we absolutely loved Presque Isle state park. Also loved Riverside Brewing which is 10 minutes away. The owners were very welcoming with a sweet note and vase of fresh-cut lilacs from their bush. Would definitely come back"

Your front desk matters and it was our understanding Andy was doing triple duty of sorts to give some of the staff time away. That noted, service did not suffer and our stay was Awesome! "Very quiet location with great views of the lake during the day and the stars at night. House is laid out well and we liked the decorations and furnishings. The kitchen was a gathering spot for the whole family and it was nice to be able to get groceries and cook some meals together. They also had a lot of outdoor seating and dining available. It was too hot out for us to take advantage of the fire pit, but I did try out the propane fire feature on the deck and really enjoyed that. ( I think I will buy one for my own house now...LOL) The place had everything we needed and then some. I doubt we will ever go back to staying in a hotel--this was so much better! The hosts were easy to communicate with and checked on us throughout the stay. They even let us know that we accidentally left some of our belongings behind and made arrangements to get them to us. Would definitely recommend. "

Very quiet relaxing atmosphere but I would suppose that would depend on the other types of guests staying there at the same time as well. Great communication with host and very helpful. Anything that was needed ie. towels, it was delivered promptly. Overall nice stay. Definitely will stay there again. Great location. "
