Very nice place to stay in Richmond. Well located and the rooms are very clean. Only had 1 problem during my stay, on check-in, the girl was very unfriendly and seems kinda bored of her job.

I had such a great stay here! The hotel was spotless and very clean, and the decor was fun and funky in the best way. The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We even got a complimentary drink from the bar, which was a nice touch. There were also so many cute activities around the property that made the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

The rooms are small but so clean and still fairly comfortable. Parking was very inconvenient and the check in process was a little confusing since it’s attached the bar. Overall it was a fine stay but since we arrived at 10pm and were exhausted we were a little thrown off upon arrival.

The Moxie is a really fun and quirky place to stay. It’s nice to stay at a hotel that’s a bit different from the average experience. From the artwork that you can tear off and take home to the storage lockers at the end of the halls with grab and go items And just the overall decor and ambience of the place. The staff was really friendly and even gave me two free drink tickets when I arrived. If you had young children, the layout of the room with the lofted beds would be excellent. The artwork is a tad bit on the adult side, but hey… city parking, so if you’re lucky, you can find a place on the street or there is a parking garage next-door, but be sure to go on the monthly not the weekly side.

Fun and Unique!

We had a great time here! Mello(w) checked us in and out at the front desk and they were fun and enthusiastic! Hannah was a great bartender, we loved watching them work and chatting. Such a fun and unique hotel, I highly recommend staying here. We also ate at Penny Lane right across the street. And Broad Street is just a short walk away.
