"The internet was painfully slow. I could not read all of my messages due to how slow it was. Also the bathroom was very dark by design with only the heater lamp available which is not desirable for the summer. On the other hand, you cold not beat this place for it's location. Except for no ceiling fans, the room was ok and certainly big enough for the two of us."

"Our stay at Hotel Telluride was exceptional, but what made it truly unforgettable was the extraordinary kindness and humanity shown by the people who work there. I arrived in Telluride shortly after losing my father, during what has been one of the most difficult times in my life. When I checked in, I learned that the hotel had graciously upgraded our room. Waiting for me was a handwritten note of condolence and fresh flowers—an incredibly thoughtful gesture that I will never forget. The General Manager Andrew and Asst Manager Zach were remarkable throughout our stay. Their kindness, respect, and genuine empathy went far beyond hospitality. They understood that sometimes the smallest gestures of compassion can mean everything to someone who is grieving, and they made my family feel truly cared for. The experience throughout the rest of the hotel was equally outstanding. The food at the restaurant was excellent, and Chelsea (our server) was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. There are plenty of beautiful hotels in beautiful places - what sets Hotel Telluride apart are its people. True hospitality isn’t just about comfortable rooms or great service, it’s about making people feel cared for, especially when they need it most. Andrew, Zach, and the entire team at Hotel Telluride gave us an experience we will never forget. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, and look forward to returning under happier circumstances. Thank you for your extraordinary kindness."
