Ettal Abbey is also across from the hotel. The front desk has a visitor card for guests to use for free local bus travel (after 5 euro deposit/per person). We used it to travel to the Schloss Linderhof and Oberammergau. We used the pool, saunas and massage amenities. Absolutely loved our stay and wish we stayed...
