"My husband and I stayed at Avila Beach Hotel for 7 nights and enjoyed our stay very much. The beach was lovely, with two lagoons full of fish to observe, and the staff were attentive and polite. I’d definitely recommend adding a breakfast package to your stay—the selection and quality were very good, and the omelette station let you order eggs just the way you like them. However, I’m glad we didn’t add dinners. While there’s more variety if you eat meat, as a pescatarian I found the options limited, and for vegetarians the selection and value for the price were not great. That said, I’d highly recommend the BBQ night at the Pen restaurant—it was excellent. A few things to keep in mind: this is more of a European-style resort, so be prepared to encounter people smoking on the beach. Smoking is also allowed on the balconies of some wings. During the first half of our stay we were lucky, but for the rest of the week our mornings and evenings on the balcony were less pleasant because of that unpleasant smell. Overall, we were happy with our choice of a hotel and would definitely stay again (but next time - in a non-smoking part :) )."

"The property has good character with its solid marble statues scattered on the grounds and real solid wood mahogany classic furniture inside the rooms. During my recent visit, I stayed in a room that has two levels joined by wooden stairs; the upper level was like a reading/ conversation/ music listening room; and the lower level had a big bathroom with a hugh bathtub in the middle of the floor, a nice bedroom, a study area with desk plus a separate space for the coffee station. Both levels have many windows that provide ample control natural light. The ACs are modern with the silent or sleep option which allows the AC to run totally silent while keeping you cool all night. Management was excellent during my stay. Miguel, the manager, is people centered and does whatever is necessary, immediately, to ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. I enjoyed my stay at the hotel and look forward to my 4th visit. "

The two major selling points for this property are its prime location and the exceptional service. The hotel’s location is outstanding. The convenience to get to eating, dining, and all the other places of interest around the city is unparalleled—everything you could want to see or do is within easy walking distance. This saved so much time and made exploring the city incredibly easy. Beyond the perfect location, the service was excellent from start to finish. The staff were extremely friendly, attentive, helpful, and highly accommodating throughout my entire trip. They genuinely went out of their way to ensure I had a comfortable stay. I must give special thanks to a few individuals who truly made a difference: Shediah, Shelsie, Mickiesha, and Nissandro. Each of them helped me out every step of the way with a kind word, a helpful suggestion, or just ensuring a smooth experience. I am truly grateful for their professionalism and warmth. "It's located in a very convenient location close to Punda and Otrabanda. Workers are friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Hotel is quiet and peaceful. Whether you are here for work or fun, it's provides the environment you require. It has 2 pools, wherein 1 pool area has a bar and restaurant with choices of bar, table or poolside seating. Also bare in mind the hotel has 2 sections. One newly built with modern amenities and the other is a renovated historical building (a former packaging factory). Highly recommend. So choose which side suits you best"
