"I wish we had planned differently and booked multiple nights here! The rooms were large, well equipped to sort all the travel stuff, and the location was perfect. Easy access to mountains, falls and trails and a terrific view from the back door. "

"Luxury hotel in a great location, easy parking, breakfast is not included but on site restaurant offers a really good breakfast. We ald had dinner here after a long drive, very nice and fine cooking. Location is great for photographs as it is far away from everything."

"The most beautiful location I stayed at while at Iceland. Full fledged kitchen amenities provided in common room. Neat and tidy guesthouse, comfy bed and decent private bathroom. I really loved the experience staying at this location and highly recommend. Only issue if you are coming in late is check the procedure in advance or call them earlier during the day. I checked in pretty late and was not provided details about my room number and checkin procedure via phone or email. Instructions were provided on their booking page and the glass doors outside the guesthouse. However, reaching there in the dark I completely missed the name and room number attached to the glass doors and had to call the number provided inside the guesthouse. Luckily someone answered the call and guided me in the right direction. Thank you. "

"It was rainy and overcast while we were there and the northern lights were not to be. But, my husband and I did enjoy the relaxing on the couch and curling up and watching a movie after spending the days driving around sight seeing. Everything we needed was there except paper towels. It is a drive to get to a store so make sure you have what you need when you arrive. There are several houses around this place, so not secluded. There was only one family there while we were there and we really did not hear them. Overall, the place is very cute, cozy and perfect for our adventure on the Sneafellness Peninsula ."

"We got stuck in snow traveling up the road to our cottage, and it was very scary for us. The road should have been closed sooner than it was, but nevertheless our host helped and came to get us. He drove us from our stuck rental car to our cottage and then brought us back to the car the following morning and helped us dig our car out (literally shoveled our car out with us)!!!! He was AMAZING and was truly the best part about our scary experience on the mountain. While for the Icelanders the wind storm might be a normal thing, for us tourists it was scary and unknowing, and our host truly put us at ease and took us to safety. I would go back to this location again and again to show these hosts gratitude!!!!"
