Delighful stay

"Without question, this was ideal guest house. From the reception to the public kitchen / eating area to the rooms, everything was spotless. Unexpectedly, there was a major snow storm with a significant amount of accumulation. The plow came in the morning, and there was a vertible UN guest effort in digging out our vehicles. The only concern was the heavy ice along the walkway to the entrance. It definitely needed sand. Two people fell and hurt themselves, one quite badly. "

"This was such a unique place to stay. The setting is incredible with a cliffside walk right outside. The room was quite small and no extra pillows or blankets, and it was really utilitarian but fine. The restaurant food was mediocre at best but I understand why it's so expensive because it's soooo rural. If you stay here keep in mind that there's not really anything around for over an hour. BUT, we saw a spectacular northern lights display around 8pm and it was absolutely one of the highlights of the trip so far. I'm not sure I'd drive that far out of the way to stay there again but it was memorable and unique so I'm glad we did. "
