The room was cleaned everyday. Which was a huge plus for us. The staff was amazing. The hotel is located right in front of Copacabana beach and 10-15 walk to Ipanema which was a huge plus. We went back and forth to both beaches. We took the breakfast option which was even more of a plus because the breakfast was amazing! Everything they had was fresh. Overall, would stay again here!

I had a great overall stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was very good. The only downside was that the breakfast options were almost the same every day, which can get repetitive if you’re staying for a longer period like I did. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, which really made a difference. The location is also a big plus, with a short and easy distance to the beach. The only real disappointment was that the gym and sauna were not working during my stay. Overall, a pleasant experience with just a few minor areas for improvement.

The room was clean and comfortable the water pressure for our shower was amazing! Beach is right across the street. We did not have an Ocean view but we didn’t go to spend time in our room so it didn’t matter. A little disappointing that when we wanted to unwind and have drinks on the roof the drinks had to come from the 1st floor so it took forever. But I would recommend staying there!

The location of the hotel is great, it’s right across the street from the beach! The view from the rooftop patio is also mazing!! However the room, common areas, and breakfast are not ideal ( at least not for an 4 star hotel) Our room was clean, but it needed updating, and maintenance. The carpet in the hallways was really old and had a smell to it.

As it was our first time in Rio, selecting Orla Hotel in Copacabana was a very deliberate choice, primarily due to its reputation for being situated in a safer area, something that was particularly important to us. From the moment we arrived, we felt reassured by the visible police presence in and around the hotel. What truly elevated our stay, however, was the exceptional staff. Their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care reflect a level of hospitality that is both rare and memorable. The hotel itself is impeccably maintained, with an evident commitment to cleanliness throughout. While the rooms are somewhat dated in terms of décor, they are nevertheless comfortable, well-kept, and perfectly adequate for a relaxing stay. Its location is another standout feature, ideal for exploring the best of Rio. Surrounded by excellent restaurants and within easy walking distance of Ipanema and Leblon, it offers both convenience and a vibrant local experience. Overall, our stay was nothing short of excellent, and we would not hesitate to return. Thank you

This is a lovely hotel in a perfect position located at the southern end of Copacabana and 5 mins walk from Ipanema. We've stayed here twice and would always come back. We booked the wrong room on the second booking and the guys on reception did their absolute best to find us a the best room they had. I would strongly advise paying the bit extra for the sea view and generally to be at the front of the hotel. The cocktail bar on the roof has an amazing view along the beach
