Hotel La Perla was fantastic value for money and really comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay again next time I visit Riva
We really enjoyed our stay. We had a Superior Room facing the pool. It was nice to have the separate seating area, two full bathrooms, and the balcony. It was clean and updated and quiet since it did not face the street. Staff was helpful and responsive. The secured bike storage area was convenient to use. We enjoyed the large pool and outdoor bar area. The location is a few minutes walk to the lake and a 20 minute walk into the old town/harbor area and within easy walking distance of lots of restaurants and shops.
When checking in room 114 was dirty and the bathroom floor was not clean. It looked like it had not been cleaned properly for a long time. It smelled mould and the rest of the room was not clean. The doorlock had a serious issue and I had to use brute force to get in. I asked the staff to help an they couldn't open the door. Then they informed me that they have had this problem for a long time but they didn't bother to fix it. I asked them to fix it but nothing was done. I stayed there 3 night because everything else was fully booked in Riva. Breakfast was a joke and the staff was not cleaning tables or filling up the buffet. This is not a 3 star hotel and I don't recommend this hotel. Stay away.
CONSEGNATA STANZA SINGOLA NON PULITA, PICCOLA, CON LETTO TALMENTE MINUSCOLO CHE NEMMENO MIO FIGLIO QUANDO AVEVA 5 ANNI POTEVA STARCI DENTRO. NOTTE INSONNE!!!!!

No A/C and no WiFi unless you book premium rooms!!
Hotels.com listed the hotel as one with A/C and free WiFi, however that goes only for the premium rooms. Thanks hotels.com for being so misleading... I also understand now, why there weren’t any room pictures available under the reservation sections for the “classic rooms”.
Those rooms look like from the 60s and are humid and hot in the summer, and the little plug in fan they provide, doesn’t help much. At least it was clean and all the staff was super nice. The location is perfect, and parking was gated and convenient.
The breakfast buffet looks nice, but most of it is not good at all once you taste it.
Overall, for 2 nights it was okay.

Dieser Teil was sehr schön.

Nice hotel close to the lake
Hotel bedroom was fairly basic, but clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was ok, the staff at time didn't replenish enough and started clearing away before the end of breakfast at 9.30, which was annoying for those coming down at 9.15.
Pool and front bar/lobby area is lovely and offers a perfect break from the lake.
