"The Tapoco Lodge is absolutely beautiful and the staff was amazing. The cabin we stayed in felt like everything was antique but somehow still new. My only complaint was that Expedia allowed me to book it as a pet-friendly room when the actual room I chose wasn’t pet-friendly. The Tapoco honored the reservation anyway and took care of us. They were terrific. My wife is already asking if we can stay here again. "

"The home is perfectly situated and very private. We take a family vacation every year in NC or TN on lakes and this one is now one of our favorites. There were so many things to do, we enjoyed watching movies in the theater room, kayaks on the lake, fire in fire pit making s’mores and watching lightning bugs at night. "This cabin was possibly one of the cleanest and well stocked with essentials I have ever experienced on a vacation. The view was absolutely unreal. The owners were great to communicate with and very friendly. We rented the pontoon boat all week, which is a must if you plan to get on the water. "This property was amazing and also the owner. I called and complained about refrigerator and freezer not cooling and she immediately went to Lowe’s and bought a new one and had it out same day. "We stay at this cabin, a half dozen times, each time better than the last. Always clean, and while the driveway is steep, it is easily navigable, even in a lowered Mini Cooper. Chances are pretty good we will be back! Oh, and did I mention hot tub?"
