"Incredible Room, Unbeatable View — The Perfect Hudson Valley Getaway Room 203 at The Rhinecliff might be the best hotel room I've ever stayed in. We checked in late in the evening, and Barry and Michaela made it completely seamless — genuinely warm, helpful hosts even at a late hour. From there, everything about the room was incredible: rich wood accents throughout, a soaking tub with a waterfall shower above it that felt like a private spa, and bedding that puts big-name hotel chains to shame — this isn't a Comfort Inn, it's Marriott-level comfort at a fraction of the price. The whole place was immaculate — spotless, no bugs, no rough edges anywhere. Parking right on the water was effortless, and the view of the Hudson River from the room is unbeatable. The train station is right next door, which sounds like it could be a downside, but there's zero noise at night — instead you get to watch geese glide over the river in the morning, which was a genuinely wonderful way to start the day. For the price, the quality, cleanliness, and charm here are hard to beat anywhere in the Hudson Valley. This is the perfect Hudson Valley getaway, and I'll be back."

"Clean room. Could use some updating . Smelled musty. Sherry in a decanter was a nice touch after stumbling through dark parking lot to find an overgrown walkway. Best part was the town .. adorable ! Lined with cute boutiques and all types of places to eat Def had quite a historic vibe. The overall area is stunning and quite picturesque.!"

"Stayed for one night and it was a great place for an anniversary getaway. The views and grounds were beautiful. Our cottage was cozy and perfect. We were able to charge our EV vehicle overnight which was very helpful. The sauna experience was nice and the Pavillion restaurant was excellent."

"Cute little spot to stay for a long weekend. Everything inside was great and completely comfortable for a couple dog. We were less than 10 minutes from getting everywhere we wanted to go downtown. Easy communication with the host and we stayed perfectly cool with the warmer weather we had."

"BRING CASH! This hotel requires a $50 cash deposit for ‘no smoking’ which was a pain because at the time of booking via hotels.com this isn’t mentioned in the fine print that cash specifically is needed. The staff also physically checks your room before returning your deposit. The outside is a little rough looking and I was nervous but once in the rooms they were big, very clean and the beds were comfy. I was pleasantly surprised! It’s a great deal."
