"What a delightful find of a hotel. It’s a converted historic mansion in the perfect location, with only a few rooms. Our suite was handsomely sized and well equipped, it had sweeping views of the lower city. There are not many high-end accommodations in Bergamo, so we decided to on this hotel. It’s not the kind of over the top luxury that we are used to at the normal five star hotels. But this intimate hotel is a standout and in a category of its own. It’s not something that you can rate with stars, the hospitality you receive here is from the heart. The space is beautiful, authentic and they care for you like family. "
"A quiet, serene spot, right in the old city of Bergamo. There's a lovely, calm garden area, and our room was bright and welcoming, Though the bathroom wasn't en suite, it was private and spacious. It was a bit odd to not interact with any staff (there is an electronic check-in process), we didn't have any issues so there was no need to contact anyone. Very close to lots of restaurants and cafes and beautiful sites to explore. "
"This hotel was in the totally ideal place in Bergamo. A short walk from the railway station and another short walk into town. It was really well appointed with fantastic modern room, fully working air conditioning and fridge in the room. The breakfast was great. "
"Booked overnight stay due to late evening flight into Bergamo. Hotel booked private taxi transfer which was much cheaper, about 10 min drive to Citta Alta. Hotel reception is up a steep set of steps, very friendly staff, lift up to room. Good sized room, good air con. Very low beds but comfortable & very clean. Good bathroom. Very quiet. 1 min walk to large square with lots of bars & restaurants. Super buffet breakfast. Were able to store luggage while we explored Citta Alta which is so beautiful, cobbled streets, gorgeous buildings and shops. Fabulous views over Bergamo, took the funicular further up to castle, and spent hours in restaurant enjoying the views. Definitely recommend and would return again."
