Room was very clean, good size room, comfy bed and pillows, breakfast was ok, only complaint is the malfunction of the fire alarm system that went off at 5am and waited outside for 45 mins for fire station to reset and clear hotel. Great location, close to freeway and airport, easy to access. Checkout times need to be uniform and updates as online it stated 11am, and the hotel stated 12pm. So we checked out an hour earlier than we could have.

Room was clean, well maintained. Beds were comfortable, good pillows. Hot water in shower, soap, conditioner and body wash provided. Breakfast was a bagel bar. Also had yogurt in a machine, boiled eggs. Coffee 24 hours a day. Spark seems to be Hiltons low cost brand, where they bought a hotel and made the rooms nice. Hallways and lobby small and not always looking the best, but it is the actual room that counts and it served us well through our last trip. Will definitely be looking for a Spark next time we travel.

The Spark hotel had convenient access from the highway and was close to amenities such as grocery stores and restaurants. Staff at the desk were nice and helpful and accommodated my request for a quiet room. The room was clean and neatly furnished. Lighting was nice. The only problems were the smoke detector flashed every 12 seconds all night and it was distracting. Thinking is was a bad battery we took it to the front desk and the person chastized us saying it is supposed to be that way. Also there was a shrill electrical sound in the room which came from where the TV was located. Some probably would not notice but those who do would find it a problem. Breakfast was ok but people were backed up trying to toast their bagels so more machines are needed.

The room was cleaned every other day, and they did a very good job. The continental breakfast was excellent, including bagels, muffins, yogurt with various mix-ins, cereal, and some type of fresh fruit. The staff was good overall, though there was not always someone available at the front desk if you had a problem. (There would be a sign that said "Helping other customer", which suggests that staffing was very low.) However, in general it was a nice place and I would probably stay there again if needed.
