The hotel is in an amazing location; easily walkable to many attractions. The staff is nice and I liked that they had water coolers in the lobby so you could always get water. Appreciated the Expedia perk of free breakfast, which I enjoyed, and the male attendant overseeing breakfast in the morning is very pleasant. My room was nice; small and cute and had everything I needed. It had a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. I also liked the view from the 9th floor. My issues, however, are that the hotel is dingy. My room was fine, but the hallways and lobby need improvement. Take that dirty rug out of the lobby! It's not the 70s and it's not appealing. Also, though my room was fine, the picture on Expedia are clearly from when the hotel was brand new - it does not look like that anymore. Another issue I have is that the bathrooms on the lobby floor and the terrace on the roof are closed and can only be opened by asking the front desk. This is very inconvenient and do not make guests feel at home. I assume this is the case due to the homeless population around the area (who aren't troublesome) but maybe get a security guard then and leave these facilities open for guests to use freely. Personally, I wouldn't stay again, but it's not a bad hotel, with a perfect location.
