"The house was very comfortable and the whole rental was a breeze. Plenty of cooking utensils and dishes stocked in the kitchen. The home feels very spacious and the large dining table is awesome! We enjoyed the games and puzzles. I would love to stay here again! Bonus was the close proximity to the state park campgrounds where the rest of our family was staying."

"We had an excellent time at Mermaid Manor. Very comfortable overall. There were a few appliances that didn't work well. The washer was out of order, the exhaust fan for the stove didn't work, the TVs in the bedrooms wouldn't connect to anything. But again, it's a cool place and we had a great time."

"Beautiful view, easy walking to beach and walking path. I am short and 73 with bad hip so had a hard time getting into the beds they are high so had to sleep in loft instead of master suite. I know what questions to ask next time since this was the first time we rented a house. Already reserved a house for next year. Had a great time."
Tree-lined Home with Hot Tub, Firepit & Large Yard

"Our stay at this property was wonderful. Had everything we needed, house was very comfortable. Loved the large fire pit in the yard. Our one disappointment was the play structure. It was one on the reasons we rented this house as we had several grandkids with us. The structure itself was broken and had pieces of beach toys in it. And the slide and swings were unusable. Those items were “jimmy rigged” to the sides of the structure in such a way that they could not use them. My small grandkids were really disappointed in it."

"The house was beautiful and the ocean views were unbelievable. If looking for a quiet place to relax and get away from crowds- this is it. This was our first time renting/VRBO a house and the experience was amazingly easy and the house….truly remarkable and gorgeous. The water was well water, with a sulfur smell, but it clean and safe with no issues. The only thing I would recommend is the outside of the house needs to be cleaned, (the exterior), and the grounds next to the house, need some mowing. But it never took away from the experience, would rent this place again. The host was gracious and had cleaners set up when we checked out- so we had no worries with that."

"Amazing views, with great amenities.. having the use of several Kayaks and as such a plus. Great Hosts, quick to respond to questions, and concerns. I would definitely recommend this rental. The only drawback for us was the windows around the bed area not having any curtains or blinds. The area becomes very hot throughout the day, and doesn’t cool off enough at night. They did have a couple of fans, that helped!"
