"We finished walking The Camino in Santiago and decided to treat ourselves to a night at this Parador, It was a great call! The hotel is magnificent. Fabulous location. Great staff. Room was just perfect (and it had a bath which was heaven after walking 23km!). Bed was wonderfully comfortable. We had supper in the hotel restaurant which was a delight and well priced. The hotel is the most amazing building and you could spend hours just wandering around it, admiring the architecture. Breakfast in the morning was also really good. The only complaint - we kept getting lost as its a maze and there were some renovations going on. Overall a fabulous stay and we wish we had stayed two nights rather than just the one!"

"Nice hotel with cool history. Staff was great. I would have given them a 5 star rating but as a digital Nomad the internet conductivity was super poor in my room (209). Had to go to sit in a chair near the elevators to get any work done. If you are near a repeater or front desk then all is good."

"The hotel is in a historic area of Santiago very close to the cathedral. It is within easy walking distance of cafes and shops. The building is historic and is not really suitable for a wheelchair user."
