"Upon arrival and check in, our first offered room smelled awful, the second was a bit better & the third worked great. It was obviously a known issue because the staff asked if it smelled moldy when I said it smelled bad. Our 2nd room had some lights and a the bathroom fan that didn’t work. The 3rd was well maintained and quite clean. The pool got the most attention, which was comical considering the small of some of the rooms. I gave them 5 stars because the staff, specifically Freddy, went above and beyond for us. I knew traveling to a small town on a budget wasn’t going to give us a great room, but Freddy checked on us and made sure we enjoyed our stay."

"Great views of river, parking plentiful if needed, close to market, gas station, restaurant/tavern. Has small boat dock. Bedrooms nice size, kitchen and family-tv area good space to entertain. Dog ramp from deck down to yard was very convenient for our dogs and us (but needs a little TLC). Enjoy time along the river, grew up there many years ago, allows you to take time slow down the pace."

"Pleasant, relaxing and private stay on the banks of the Ohio River. If you want peace and quiet, comfort and simplicity, this is a perfect getaway. The huge picture windows on the water side of the house make it seem like you’re floating on the river. Watching the barges chug around the curves of the river and pass the house is delightful. Shane communicates quickly and keeps everything running with no fuss or muss."

"Our family stayed at the Cozy Vintage House when we visited Holiday World, and it was perfect in every way. Our two- and four-year-old grandchildren loved all of the toys and games. The king beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well supplied, and the spacious living area made our stay very enjoyable. The nearby restaurant was very welcoming, and the food and drink were excellent. We are so happy we chose this house rather than stay at Holiday World or a hotel because it captured the beauty of the countryside and local community and added the experience of the area. We even captured a beautiful sunset over the field behind the home. All of that and a host that was beyond super in accommodating our every need."
