"I hate to leave negative reviews but this is a very sad rundown motel, the room was tiny and very dirty, the sink in the bathroom was hanging off of the wall and the bathroom door couldn't close. There was a microwave and fridge in the room but no coffee maker or kettle, there was not even a paper cup to get a cup of water! The bed was uncomfortable and there was only two very flat pillows. There was no table and no chairs to sit on and to top it all there were no batteries in the TV remote! I would not recommend this motel to anyone."

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lakeside accommodation! The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked with all the standard essentials and thoughtful extras like containers for leftovers, which made meal prep and cleanup so easy. There was plenty of comfortable seating in the common areas for our group to relax together, and the view of the lake was absolutely gorgeous.The easy beach access was a huge bonus, and after long days exploring nearby Rondeau Provincial Park for spring birding, it was so nice to come back to the cozy gas fireplace and incredibly comfortable beds with firm mattresses. We also appreciated the many hooks throughout the space for coats, towels, and gear — such a practical touch that made a big difference for a group stay.Even with five people staying there, we never had any issues with hot water. Everything was comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully set up. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway near the lake!"

"First time using Vrbo or an Air B&B for us and it did not disappoint. This was a great experience. Good location near Rondeau Provincial Park. Well equipped kitchen. Great bedding and towels. Awesome host who made us feel like staying with them again one day. Thanks for providing this service so much nicer than staying in hotels."

"The cottage has a relaxing lakefront view, with a well equipped spacious kitchen, with an island countertop in the middle. The light colour tones of the cottage, the number of rooms and amenities were very comfortable for our group of seven family members. Even the drinkwares had sayings and quotes that gave a homely and relaxing feel. The cottage was ready for use when we checked in and checkout was as simple as closing the front door which is code controlled. Our host communicated with us through Expedia’s messaging platform,which gave us direct access for any questions and privacy at the same time. We would definitely choose this property as an option if visiting the area again. "

"We had a wonderful stay at this charming canal-front cottage. It was extremely clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable—everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Fishing right off the private dock was a highlight, with easy access out to Rondeau Bay. Evenings were perfect for bonfires under the stars, and we really enjoyed BBQ dinners on the spacious back deck.The area is quiet and welcoming—everyone we met was very friendly, and I felt completely safe walking my two dogs around the neighborhood. There’s also a pier at the end of the street with beautiful views of the bay, which made for a perfect start to each day.A lovely little town just minutes away had everything we needed. No complaints at all - highly recommend, you’ll love it!"

CON'S:Upper bathroom towel rack not secure Upper bedrooms with no closet space or hooks Upper ( larger) bathroom with no outlets - though this is where the larger bedroom is.Spiders were abundant. Webs had to be cleared from the doorways of both the entrance and back patio for us to get in. "
