"The host was exceptional with communication to us, as we had many questions before our stay. The location of the cottage was perfect for short trips to the beaches at Erieau, and Rondeau Provincial Park, as well as day trips to Kingsville, Leamington, Blenheim and Chatham. Cottage was cute and quaint and the bunkie was great as well. Beds are very comfortable. Air conditioning was our friend as we were there during a hot and humid week. We enjoyed lots of time on the deck out back having coffee/tea in the mornings and BBQ’s at night. Campfire pit was great !"

"Nice big roomy cottage. Beautiful big deck to sit and look out at the water. Owner provided firewood and fire starter for camp fires. Also very well equipped with everything you need. Bathrooms well stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash and towels. Toilet paper, paper towels, plastic wrap, tin foil, baggies and garbage bags were also there. It was great you didn't have to bring any of those things. Couple minute drive to Erieau and 10 minute to Blenheim for shopping. Nice beach in Erieau. Good communication with owner. We liked it so much we booked again next year."

"Lovely cottage in very quiet, natural area. Great for relaxing! Kristy responded as soon as we needed anything. Grocery store 10 mun away...lake erie for clean swimming and many bike and walking trails to use in area."

"I was looking for 5 nights away on the lake, by myself. Mission accomplished!The cottage was clean, but not spotless. If you are looking for something like your home or better, this is not the place for you. If you are seeking a relaxing "cottage" experience, then this is works.As stated in early reviews, TV didn't work well, even though the host brought a new one. BBQ absolutely disgustingly unusable! Should have been replaced years ago.Cottage is musty, could use a dehumidifier, but what do you expect being so close to the water? Be prepared to find cobwebs every morning and earwigs throughout your stay. As with a trailer, "tickets" (toilet paper) goes in the garbage , due to septic system.Walking or bike path in McGeachy Pond Conservation Area west, just a few houses up the street. Many trails in the area. Nice beach and Pier, 6 minute drive.Would rent again, just for the serenity and morning and night view of the lake."
