"Welcome was ok, we got given a sheet with useful info such as WiFi code and map of complex. Parking was plentiful and convenient. Room was spacious, with king bed, but only one nightstand. Fridge was noisy and we had to switch aircon off as it was like sharing a room with a jet engine. Plenty of towels, including for pool. Property is tired and needs some investment. To remote didn’t work and we had to go to reception twice to get new batteries. Great restaurant round the corner - Camellia Street Grill, great food, atmosphere and on the water. You know you’ve chosen the right place to eat when the local fire station crew rock up for dinner."

"Staff was rude, bed was really uncomfortable, hot water in the shower didn’t work. TVs are really slow and outdated. The crib that I requested to the room was really old and dirty and the mattress didn’t fit into the crib. The pool was overall nice but not pool bar and it closed at 8:00 PM. Yes, the valet parking is included in the price but whenever I requested my car they just gave me the keys and I had to go to the parking lot myself and get my car. I paid a really high price and honestly I will never go back here. Stay away from this place !."

"Everything was excellent except for the extra charges for parking and resort fee. I wish did the restaurants. We're open later, people are up to midnight should be able to get food. The other thing is you guys are known as markup island only because everything is so expensive in the hotel Like incidentals"

"To be 100% honest, the only thing that makes this hotel/resort nice is the amenities. Easy access to pool and beach. Other than that, there’s nothing that makes this hotel worth $900/ night AT ALL! Staff is mediocre, rooms are mediocre at best. Our room had a toilet that did not at all flush. They sent someone multiple times to attempt to fix it, but the end result was a not working toilet our entire 2 day stay. The pool towels they gave us were dirty (literally had kids Cheeto finger marks all over the towels). The bathrooms by the pool were disgusting. The lawn chairs by the pool were covered and spotted with black mold. This hotel has potential but— needs a lot of work. "

"Had a few issues with the microwave(broke on the 2nd day there and so did the coffeemaker that were resolved quickly by the property manager. Property manager was very responsive. Plenty of bath and beach towels. Not enough beach chairs. Property sleeps 6 and there were only 3 beach chairs. One of which was a very small, low to ground chair which none of our 60 yr bodies could get out of. Could not use the adult bikes as air was not staying in the tires. There were no designated dressers for clothes, Most had clothes already in them, same for the closets. Def not enough hangers. Pool was lovely. Clean and great temp! Great canal view and very relaxing pool deck. All in all except for these small issues, the place was clean and comfortable and in a wonderful location. We had a great time!"
