"On a recommendation, a group ladies booked a few nights. The room was very spacious and clean. They have done some upgrades since 1951. Alas, it is a well used hotel on the coast. The sauna was out of order. The hot tub was okay, but seemed to need a cleaning? The pool was lovely. We had dinner last night, and it was fantastic! Our server Harrison was wonderful. He was funny, attentive, and knew the menu. Not sure if I would stay again with all the choices there are to offer? For the money, I have stayed at better places in the area."

"This property is a real gem! Everything you would want in a beach stay. The floorplan and space is well designed; kitchen, living room and dining area are all very comfortable. The partial ocean view is visible throughout the space, including while sitting at the dining room table. The beds are super comfortable and the bathrooms clean and functional. The location is great--just a few blocks walk to the beach and a short drive to downtown. We loved it and would return!"

The house is conducive to relaxed family time, cooking big meals, people coming and going from the beach, to hiking at Cape Perpetua, sampling the restaurants in Yachats. Everything was well taken care of and beautiful! We will definitely be back again and again."
