"On a recommendation, a group ladies booked a few nights. The room was very spacious and clean. They have done some upgrades since 1951. Alas, it is a well used hotel on the coast. The sauna was out of order. The hot tub was okay, but seemed to need a cleaning? The pool was lovely. We had dinner last night, and it was fantastic! Our server Harrison was wonderful. He was funny, attentive, and knew the menu. Not sure if I would stay again with all the choices there are to offer? For the money, I have stayed at better places in the area."

"House is larger than I expected and could not have been closer to the ocean. There are 3 bathrooms and a game room 2 dining tables and plenty of window built in bed/couches to view the ocean with the entire living room a window on the ocean.The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed for cooking. There are 2 ovens and a separate stove. The entire house has numerous built in nooks and crannies.The beach is right there and a little hard to get to, but we had 2 77-year-olds, one 2-year-old and one 68-year-old who had just gone through recent surgery and we managed to get to the beach numerous times.The place is pet friendly and dogs will love itThere appears to be a Seagull colony of birds of maybe 2 or 3 hundred to the left of the living room picture window, who can be seen with a very short walk.We loved it and would return if time and circumstances allow it in the future.There is a local grocery store in Yachats and one in Waldport of course there are larger options in Florence or Newport."

"The house is lovely, situated alongside a particularly magical stretch of Bob’s Creek. The house itself is a great mix of nice, comfortable, and fun (shuffleboard! Jacuzzi!). Kitchen is well appointed. The grill is charcoal, and there may or may not be charcoal or lighter fluid. Bidets on toilets were an unexpected but nice addition. Beds were comfy and nighttime star viewing off the deck was S tier.The highlight, even though everything was top notch, was access to the beach just steps away. Awesome sunsets, spectacular tide pooling. All around, a magical stay in a wonderful property."

"Very nice unit, had everything we needed. This is a pet friendly place and was great for our dog. We did not have a direct view of the beach but the private access was amazing and we could see down the beach and loved the upstairs loft for relaxing in the evenings. You can walk forever to the adjacent beaches and it was never crowded. Even though we were just off the busy highway it was peaceful and quiet. Would stay there again!"
