"On a recommendation, a group ladies booked a few nights. The room was very spacious and clean. They have done some upgrades since 1951. Alas, it is a well used hotel on the coast. The sauna was out of order. The hot tub was okay, but seemed to need a cleaning? The pool was lovely. We had dinner last night, and it was fantastic! Our server Harrison was wonderful. He was funny, attentive, and knew the menu. Not sure if I would stay again with all the choices there are to offer? For the money, I have stayed at better places in the area."

"House is larger than I expected and could not have been closer to the ocean. There are 3 bathrooms and a game room 2 dining tables and plenty of window built in bed/couches to view the ocean with the entire living room a window on the ocean.The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed for cooking. There are 2 ovens and a separate stove. The entire house has numerous built in nooks and crannies.The beach is right there and a little hard to get to, but we had 2 77-year-olds, one 2-year-old and one 68-year-old who had just gone through recent surgery and we managed to get to the beach numerous times.The place is pet friendly and dogs will love itThere appears to be a Seagull colony of birds of maybe 2 or 3 hundred to the left of the living room picture window, who can be seen with a very short walk.We loved it and would return if time and circumstances allow it in the future.There is a local grocery store in Yachats and one in Waldport of course there are larger options in Florence or Newport."

"Great location, comfortable, beautiful home, nicely furnished. Ocean views were fabulous. They could do better on maintenance and cleaning and communication. Otherwise I recommend due to the beautiful area and so many things to see and do."

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is an amazing house in a great location just back from the quiet beach front road. The house is conducive to relaxed family time, cooking big meals, people coming and going from the beach, to hiking at Cape Perpetua, sampling the restaurants in Yachats. Everything was well taken care of and beautiful! We will definitely be back again and again."

"Such an amazing place! So grateful for all the thoughtfulness put into this beautiful home. We found three different ocean views from the house and deck, so even though its not on the water, theres a wonderful connection to the waves and lovely ocean air every minute. The linens are beautiful , the kitchen is great to cook in, and the bathroom and shower look like they were installed yesterday. So nicely appointed we can t recommend it enough. We parked the car and walked to town amd hiked the 804 and up the beach toward Waldsport and back. Also hiked the Cape Perpetua trails via the coastal trail and took the free trolley back from the Visitors Center. It runs Thursday-Sunday and has a stop on Yachats Ocean Road which is perfect! So grateful for our time at this special place and cant wait to come back."
