"Perfect for our kids, age 7 and 6. Very shallow off the end of the dock so no big fish but the boys caught plenty of little fish. Sandy beach was a huge hit. Able to kayak and paddle board. Hot tub worked well. Key pad to get in was a struggle but 1 call and someone was there within an hour. Internet was great."

"The place was nice. It was just me and I only really slept there while spending the weekend at Turk Lake, so I can't speak to making meals or anything. The bed and bathrooms were fine.It didn't really bother me, but I could see others being surprised that there were no curtains or blinds for the windows. The trees do the privacy work, but it could feel uncomfortable for someone staying there. It's visible in the pictures, but it's something someone may not think to look for Overall, it did a perfect job of being a place to stay for a few nights while I mostly hung out with friends on the lake."

"My sisters and I enjoyed the historical Winter Inn and will definitely be back. The staff was VERY accommodating and friendly. The room, though small, was clean and cute. The downstairs tavern was unique and quite large, and the outdoor patio was charming. We only ate small bites at the restaurant, which was typical "bar food," but again, not really enough to give the food a full review. Our waitress was so very, very nice and we enjoyed our time as a family at the Inn."
