ALL linens washed between EVERY guest, entire home meticulously cleaned and sanitized after each guest. This sweet little vacation home is ideally located right off of I-5, a short walkable distance to historic downtown Roseburg. This recently updated bungalow is charming and artfully decorated. Whether you are visiting Roseburg, Umpqua Valley wine country, Crater Lake, the Oregon Coast, or just passing through on I-5, the Sophisticated Bungalow is well stocked with all the amenities you will need for your trip.
This charming bungalow boasts original hardwood floors, is artfully decorated, and filled with nice touches to make your stay extra special. You won't be disappointed. The kitchen is fully stocked with Coffee maker, dishes, silverware, pots, pans, etc. A stocked laundry room, iron and ironing board to keep you looking your best! WIFI, Blu Ray Player and a Smart TV to keep you entertained when you are not out and about. The backyard is private and has a gas BBQ for you to use. The front covered porch is a wonderful spot to enjoy your morning coffee or an evening beverage. Sit back, relax and watch the wild turkeys and deer.
You will have private access to the entire home and fenced yard during your stay.

Great stay!

This house was so cute and very clean. In a quiet neighborhood with some great food options just down the road. Our stay was lovely and if I’m ever in the area again I’ll definitely rebook.

Cozy and relaxing

Location is walkable to restaurants and pubs. 4 adults on a wine tasting weekend. The kitchen was well-stocked, comfortable beds, and a great space to just hang out and chat with each other. Highly recommend.

Cute cottage

This cottage is very cute, super clean and located close to restaurants. We walked to breakfast and dinner. It is comfortable and well supplied. We saw wild turkeys and deer in the center median as a special treat.

Great stay!

Went to visit our daughter. House was just a few blocks from where she lives. She came for bfast each morning and I was even able to cook a nice dinner for her and her friends! Kitchen is well stocked and lots of room for hanging out and playing games! Will definitely stay again!

In town for a wedding, found this lil gem with all the comforts of home! Extremely clean, spacious, lovely, stylish older home with a lot of charm! Very quiet neighborhood enjoyed sitting on the front porch, well shaded watching the kids bike & play. Will def be back!

Family reunion

Delightful bungalow in Roseburg

Was in town to visit our daughter and newborn grandson. The "Sophisticated Bungalow" was the perfect choice for our visit. Had all the amenities of home and was close to our new grandbaby. Everything was neat and clean and provided us with ample space to relax after visiting and sightseeing. Neighborhood was quiet, not a fancy area by any means, but no ramshackle homes either. That being said we had no issues and would certainly stay here again next time we are in town.

Great stay!

We traveled to Roseburg to play in a golf tournament at the Roseburg Country Club. The house was perfect for the two of us. Very clean and well stocked. The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe. The surrounding area of Roseburg is just beautiful. It was very hot during our stay, but the room air conditioners were great and kept the main room and bedrooms nice and cool! Nice beds and linens. I slept well. Thanks for a great stay!

Sweet and Clean House

This was our first stop of a 2 week trip around Southern Oregon. It was a comfortable place with everything we needed. Our host was attentive to our needs. It was clean and in close proximity of what we came to Roseburg to do. We were easily able to ride our bikes around town and along the river. We were also in close proximity of wineries, which was our main purpose of the visit. We enjoyed evening meals on front porch. It was delightful.

I wish I'd booked a second week here

I grew up in Roseburg so I know the area. I was here for my 50th high school reunion and a classmate and I were able to invite a couple of friends over before we went to dinner. It was nice to have a real house to meet up at, and be able to offer ice cream for desert after dinner at El Dorado, a local (within walking distance) Mexican place. Just a homey vibe all around. As for amenities, I loved having the convenient laundry room and regular size fridge, nice glassware, hair dryer, oh, and a printer that worked perfectly with my lap top computer. I had the larger room and it actually has a sitting area and a nice sized closet. It was fun to see what the host had done with the property. Full disclosure: No dishwasher (no big deal) and parking is on the street right in front of the house. Also, the guests are asked to start a load of towels upon departure, which I will do. I plan to stay here again, and will feel safe and comfortable as a woman traveling alone. As the title suggests, I am staying a second week in Roseburg and I wish I'd booked a full two weeks in this VRBO, rather than moving to a local hotel. If I'm here in the warmer months, I will definitely be sitting outside on the front porch, just like folks did 100 years ago in this neighborhood.
